LT4's Calculators

We borrowed LT4's calculators.  We practised our skip counting by putting in 10+10= and then we kept on pressing =
The calculator does the skip counting for you and you can read the numbers aloud.
Try it on your calculator at home - you can try it with skip counting in 2s, 5s, 10s and even 3s!
Me and Robertson are playing with a calculator. I did 1002 and 1003. By Weepeha
I am playing with the calculator and Weepeha is playing too. We made big numbers. By Robertson

I was with the calculators and Nicole took a photos of me.  I pushed the numbers 6 and 5.  We took care of them.  By Mariah

I do numbers and Nicole helped me.  This one is leaking (pen ink) and I don't know why.  It was fun and we do skip counting. By Aileen

  1. Calculators are so much fun! If you are skip counting in 5's on the calculator what number could you get to in 30 seconds? Elizabeth

  2. The leaky pen calculator was from one of our LT4 children who was playing with a pen and sadly he pulled it apart and it leaked ink everywhere. This isn't a good idea cause it makes a really big mess that is hard to clean.

  3. Yesterday we worked out that on some calculators you have to put in "10 + + 10 =" and then keep pushing the = for the skip counting to work.
